2023 Junior Summer Series Rules & Info
- YOU MUST BE A REGULAR MEMBER IN GOOD STANDING TO PARTICIPATE!
- KIDS OF ASSOCIATE MEMBERS CAN PARTICIPATE IN THE TUESDAY NIGHT EVENTS AS OF 2022.
- AT ANY POINT SOMEONE BECOMES A REGULAR MEMBER THEIR KID MAY START IMMEDIATELY THE TUESDAY AFTER THE MEETING. They may NOT begin while you work towards becoming a member. YOU MUST FILL OUT THE PAPERWORK!
- The top 3 are in bold for a reason.
- The classes this year will be as follows: 50cc, 65cc, 85cc, Girls 65cc -Up, Youth B, Youth A.
- You may race one class per bike. So if you have a 50 and 65, your kid can race both the 50 and 65 class.
- Practice will be broken down into A Practice and B Practice. A Practice is Supermini and Big Bikes. B Practice is 85cc and under and TRIPLES ARE NOT ALLOWED. 85cc Riders capable of trippling obstacles can ride in the A practice with parents permission.
- For safety reasons the 85cc class and under are NOT ALLOWED TO TRIPLE OBSTACLES DURING THE EVENTS!
- We know families go on vacation and kids get sick. It's a long season so we will drop your two lowest scores.
- We will have events that will be done in the event of an unrideable track or bad weather. The Backwards Bike Push, Limbo Contest, Slow Race, Drag Race, Barrel Race. We will do all of these events.
- It's rain or shine unless we cancel for severe weather.
- Proper riding gear is required! HELMET, BOOTS, GOGGLES no exceptions.
- YOU MUST FILL OUT THE PERMISSION WAIVER (download it below) AND IT MUST BE NOTARIZED PRIOR TO COMPETING! YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO COMPETE WITHOUT IT!
- MEMBERS OF PARTICIPANTS ARE REQUIRED TO FLAG AND HELP WITH THE TRACK PREPARATION. THE EVENTS CANNOT HAPPEN WITHOUT EVERYONE'S HELP!
- SAFETY IS EVERY MEMBERS RESPONSIBILITY! IF YOU FEEL SOMETHING IS UNSAFE, FIX IT, SPEAK UP, STOP THE EVENT!
- Event scoring! AMA Scoring 1st Place -25points, 2nd Place -22 points, 3rd Place -20 points, 4th Place-18 points, 5th Place -16 points, 6th Place -15 points, 7th Place-14 points, 8th Place-13 points, 9th Place-12 points, 10th Place -11 points, 11th Place -10 points, 12th Place -9 points, 13th Place -8 points, 14th Place -7points, 15th Place -6 points, 16th Place – 5 points, 17th Place -4 points, 18th Place -3 points, 19th Place -2 points, 20th PLace-1 point, 21st Place and Below – 0 Points
